The OpenSAF source tree has been tagged for Milestone 5. This milestone also represents "Functional Complete" for OpenSAF Release-4.

Release Candidate 1 (4.0.RC1) will be the next milestone. RC1 is expected to be available in the middle of May.

Beginning with this announcement, OpenSAF Release-4 is under change control. Only fixes to existing features should be added at this point. No new features can be accepted.

The "4.0.RC1" tag will be applied to the source tree when there are zero blocker/critical/major open tickets as defined by the "Tickets that MUST be solved before 4.0.0-RC1" report ( https://devel.opensaf.org/report/21).

Fixes for tickets listed in the "Tickets that SHOULD be solved before 4.0.0-RC1" report ( https://devel.opensaf.org/report/20) may also be address up until the 4.0.RC1 tag is applied.

When submitting new ticket for Release-4, please use the "4.0.0-RC1" tag.
