OpenSAF Release 2 General Availability

The OpenSAF Foundation is pleased to announce the General Availability of OpenSAF Release 2 (OpenSAF 2.0.0).

OpenSAF 2.0.0 is the first release of the OpenSAF code base, which was developed and tested entirely by the OpenSAF community since its formal inception with the release 1 code base in January 2008. This release adds the SAF AIS Log service and 64-bit support and has been added to the initial feature set. In addition, there has been through extensive regression testing by the community in a wide range of environments.

The OpenSAF 2.0.0 release will be maintained as a stable release. This mean only necessary bug fixes will be applied to this release, and binary backward compatibility will be maintained.
